Meet the Designers

Samantha Winkler

Hello! My name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam! I am a interior designer located in Pennsylvania where I grew up. I began my interior design journey at 18 years old where I studied with the New York Institute of Art & Design (NYIAD) and began with interior decorating and worked my way to the kitchen and bath industry! I kicked things off as a kitchen and bath design assistant for a full-home renovation firm, where I had the hands-on experience of transforming kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, and plenty more from the ground up. Fast forward, and I landed at Country Kitchens where I've spent the last two years as an interior designer. It's been an incredible experience, and I'm so grateful to be part of a team that allows me to bring my creative vision to life while helping people create their dream kitchens.

When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me reading, spending time with my friends, hitting the gym, building Legos, or hanging out with my cat, Pumpkin. My main goal in life is to make myself and others smile, laugh, and have fun, which I like to bring into my work environment as well.

I can't wait to help bring your dream space to life!

1.) What's your favourite finish? My favorite cabinet style has to be our Rustic Shaker, as it is a very unique style that isn’t offered many other places. I love how it brings warmth to a space and can be used in many different kitchen styles. One of my new favorites has to be our Shaker Aberdeen Green cabinets!
2.) What is your favourite item/feature to include in designs? I love to include glass doors, and unique islands in the designs I create.
3.) Do you have a favourite design aesthetic? Mid-century modern
4.) What is your favourite type of project to take on? I love creating unique kitchen designs in small spaces. It really puts your design skills to the test!
5.) Any design "rules" that you like to break? I get excited when a client wants to mix door styles that don’t typically go together, but end up looking great! Even if it is a monochrome look but with two different shades, I think it creates a fun and special place where you spend a lot of your time.

Carmie Morton

I began my career in high school with a love of computer aided drafting and continued my college education in architectural drafting, space planning, and landscape design in Colorado, specializing in kitchens and baths. I hold myself to National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) standards and the International Building Codes. You will find that I strive to make every kitchen as functional as possible as well as attractive with trusted material suggestions.

When not drafting at my computer or researching kitchen design trends, you will often find me near or in the water. I’m the first mermaid of Wyoming and love to entertain children with a flip of my tail. You can also find me fishing along the North Platte River on a summer day or up in the mountains along the creeks.

I have worked with a variety of companies and had opportunities to work with Grey’s Anatomy, Property Brothers, and Cash Pad. You may have seen my work without even realizing it! I joined Country Kitchens at the end of 2024 and look forward to expanding our reach in providing quality designs and cabinets for customers across the US.
