Rustic Hickory takes solid American hickory and lets the wood do the talking. Every door is a shaker frame around a slab of open, restless grain, with mineral streaks and tight knots that swing from pale honey to deep coffee brown, sometimes on the same door. That variation is the point, not a flaw, and no two kitchens built from it look quite alike. The drawer fronts are solid slab, which keeps the wide grain unbroken across a run of drawers, and the boxes, shelves and drawers are finished natural inside. If you want a kitchen with real depth and a bit of wildness to it, this is the one. Order matching skins for any exposed cabinet sides, since the sides come natural rather than knotty.

Knots and wood variations create a distinct look and are not considered defects. Scribe needs to be used for a wall cabinet against a wall or deeper cabinet/appliance. For base cabinets, a 1/2" space needs to be left (which can be filled with a filler that is cut to size). The cabinet depth measurement listed is the depth from the front of the face frame to the back of the cabinet, and does not include the cabinet door depth. Cabinet specs are subject to change without notice. *Cabinet measurements are typically converted from metric to inches and manufacturers will commonly round up to the nearest 1/4 inch.
